Privacy Policy

Data stored on your device

All game state is stored locally using React Native AsyncStorage. It never leaves your device unless you reinstall the app.

• Lives state — current lives, refill timer, purchased lives pool, ad-watch history.
• Game progress — star ratings and best scores for each of the 100 levels.
• Coach mark flags — which denomination coach marks you have already seen.

No server-side game data

Snapture does not store any game progress, scores, or personal information on our servers. The API server handles only purchase validation and health checks.

In-app purchases — RevenueCat

Purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to manage purchase receipts and entitlements. RevenueCat assigns each user an anonymous customer ID — no account or sign-in is required.

RevenueCat may collect:

• Anonymous device identifiers
• Purchase receipt data (shared by Apple / Google)
• App version and platform

Rewarded ads — Google AdMob

Snapture shows optional rewarded video ads (you choose to watch them in exchange for a free life). Ads are served by Google AdMob.

On iOS 14.5 and later, we ask for your permission via the App Tracking Transparency dialog before showing ads. If you decline, we show non-personalized ads instead — you can still watch them to earn lives.

AdMob may collect:

• Advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android) — only if you grant permission
• IP address
• Ad interaction data

You can reset or opt out of ad tracking in your device settings: iOS → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android → Settings → Privacy → Ads.

Analytics and telemetry

Snapture logs anonymous gameplay events (lasso accuracy, level completion, star progress) to help us improve difficulty balance and game feel. These logs contain no personally identifiable information.

Children

Snapture is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Data retention and deletion

Local device data can be deleted by uninstalling the app. To request deletion of any data held by RevenueCat or AdMob on your behalf, contact us and we will submit a deletion request to those services.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.
